My name is Inger-Lise Ohrstrand. I live approximately 20 minutes norht Oslo in Skedsmo county .I guess I've allways had dogs and children nearby me. If we did'nt have dogs at home I borrowed the dogs form my neighbours. The first dog I owned was an old Boxer Bitch named NELLY-She came to me when I was 15 years old. We had a lovely time together. She nearly reached the age of 14 years and I miss her still.

Later my children was born, I have three sons' and 5 grandsons and a new dog. This time I had a Riezen Schnauser.Then another one. When the children grew older we choosed Doberman Pincher as "our" breed . Untill 1986 we had this breed. Then I was injuired and could not exersise big dogs anymore. But after a few years I wanted a new dog and our choise fell on Bichon Frise. The first dog came to us in 1988. This breed I've grown very fond of . I've been showing them and had a few litters.When I decided to become a breeder of Bichon Frisè We also applied for kennel name (QU-YA-VA) i 1992. I just breed as a hobby and dogs and puppies are raised in my home. The dogs also sleep in my bed at night. We have a house with plenty of space for the dogs to move in and also a big garden.

Good Health and temper are important in my breedingprogram. I'm not so eager to commandm new puppy owneres to show the dogs in exhibitions. The main thing is that the puppies have good and safe homes with owners that will love them and care for them .

Then my health got a little worse. My fingers and articular started to bother me and I had to consider what to do. A new and more "easy" bread? – The choise was Chinese Crested. Something I don't regret. Denne dog is completely different from the Bichon Frise and a lot of fun to work with CC. Health and temper is also what I'll work on here
